Held on the top floor of the new Sheraton City Center Hotel, the evening started with cocktails and a delicious dinner. Following dinner, Executive Director Rich Meyers recognized Reunion Jazz and others who received the Outstanding Volunteer Award this year. The highlight of the evening was General Chairman Arnold Donald's presentation of the Mel Loewenstein Volunteer Achievement Awards. Out of several thousand volunteers, only a few receive this award each year. Among this year's seven recipients was our own friend and Program Chair, Ampy Kohlman-Moore!

We'll have to get a table for the band next year...probably worth the drive for our Mid-Missouri members. The evening definitely demonstrated what a class act Fair Saint Louis is. I feel lucky to be a part of it.
